Trio Kampar Trip

Last Sunday, went to Kampar with Comrade ChoonYong and PeiFeng. Since we’re going to study at Kampar starting May/June, we went there to know more about that place. Also, to find a house or room for us to rent. Will write about this event in next post.

MG Unicorn Progress

Started constructing my Master Grade Unicorn Gundam. Which is still in progress…

The upper body is finished, while just starting the lower part. Backpack and weapons still in queue… =.=

Stop the SPAM

there’s no need further explanation, I think everyone experienced above situation. Live Messenger spam…

Recently this problem is becoming more and more serious. I mean every time I log into my Windows Live messenger. I would get at least 3-4 person spamming something like that to me…

It is not their fault to send those spams. It was something like adware or hacks that causes the problem.

ChoonYong told me that, by changing their email password will solve the problem. Because the hackers are unable to use your account to send those useless and annoying spams.I think It’ll work… I’m finding a solution…

So guys and gals… together please stop this phenomena.. DO NOT click on those links given by the spam. It is very obvious that the person wouldn’t write something like: “Look! Your picture!! http://wtf/”

Some more, I don’t know why that someone actually believes and click on the link… there goes….

Western Digital 1TB MyBook Home

Breast Enhancing Ringtone

Found this accidentally on youtube… Dr. Tomabechi had invented a kind of ringtone that would increase the size of a female’s breast for 2cm if she listens to the ringtone for 10 times a day, for a total of 20 days.

I don’t think it’ll work for males… Girls out there who wants this ringtone… erm, I got…

Mahjong

Playing mahjong with my friends… found this mahjong set in my old house… I believe it is older than me… ^^

Some said that playing mahjong is not nice, because most people usually thinks “play mahjong = gambling = bad habit”… Well, I think that mahjong is a very nice game, which you have to observe other players, plan and decide what to do in order to win or prevent others to win. Of course I don’t gambling…

Did you played mahjong before? Talk about mahjong, below is the promotion video of Saki, one of 2009 Spring season’s anime.

Master Grade Unicorn Gundam

I had this MG kit for a year already… wanted to construct it, but never get a chance to do so… always busy with all kinds of stuff… Until recently, i got some free time to do this project…

The Psycho Frame, It GLOWS… Bandai used some kind of light collecting material for this ABS part…

Shinjuku Incident

Went to watch movie with my friends, DaoQi and Simon on 2nd April. Intended to watch Fast and Furious 4, which on air on that day. Good gracious, the tickets were sold out… Finally, we choose another new movie by Jackie Chan – Shinjuku Incident

Don’t wan’t to spoil the story for you. Simple summary:

In the early 1990s, a tractor mechanic from China nicknamed Steelhead (Jackie Chan) enters Japan illegally, in search of his girlfriend Xiu Xiu (Xu Jinglei). Steelhead and his friend, Jie (Daniel Wu) meet in the busy Shinjuku district of Tokyo and take manual labouring jobs to earn money. When Steelhead finds out that Xiu Xiu has married a Japanese Yakuza leader named Eguchi (Kato Masaya), he decides to remain in Japan…

This is actually a very good movie, the background are very well portrayed, such as the Yakuza community, Japanese society, gothic and etc…However, in Malaysia, this movie is being filtered… quite a lot being cut away… below is the movie trailer…

Fast and Furious 4

We never give up on what we wanted to do… 2nd day, We went to watch movie again… this time, we booked the ticket earlier… Still barely get the ticket, the front most row..

What I can say after I finished the whole movie is: “your money won’t be wasted.” Go watch this movie if possible. I’m looking for another chance to watch it again.

picture below, Jordana is so COOL in her Honda NSX. Hoping to see more actions from her…

Ching Ming Festival

Today is Ching Ming Festival, which also called as All Souls Day or Tomb Sweeping Day. Went to clean the tombs of my grandparents and great-grandparents.

It is a day to remember and honor our ancestors. We Chinese take this festival very seriously as it is a time to reflect, honour and give thanks to our forefathers.

GN-0000/7S 00 Gundam Seven Swords

Posted by John on December 12, 2008

Right after my last post about the 00 Gundam + 0 Raiser, I googled and wiki-ed for more informations about Gundam 00. Surprisingly, I found something really awesome! yeah, and I’m quite late for this information because it was coveraged on October 2008 in Hobby Japan mag.

cover of the December 2008 issue of Hobby Japan, which was sold in October.

This MSV (Mobile Suit Variation) of 00 Gundam is equipped with a Seven Swords System which I think will or already appear in Mobile Suit Gundam 00V. Well, I think it is the upgraded version of Exia’s Seven Swords System.

Scans from Hobby Japan mag.

Explanations and pictures of the weapons

GN Sword II Long
Mounted on the right of the waist. Compared to the current adopted GN Sword II, it has an enhanced rifle mode. But it has a decreased rapid fire capability and increased particle consumption. Its equipped in the premise of the complete operational Twin Drive System, and also it is the only weapon designed for long range battle in the Seven Swords.

GN Sword II Short
Mounted on the left of the waist. Developed as a projectile weapon to replace the GN Beam Dagger which Setsuna often used when piloting Exia. The tip part of the sword is attached to a wire and can be shot out and retracted as many times perused.

GN Katar x2
Medium sized swords mounted on the add-on parts at both knees. A type of heat sword that has not be adopted by any Gundam so far. The cutting edges are made of a material developed from those that are used in GN condensers, as the GN particles change to heat, the heat is transferred to whatever is in contact at the moment. With this feature in theory, it is possible to attack at high temperatures that cannot be endured by the material of the GN Katar. Still in the prototype stage.

GN Beam Saber x2 (not in picture)
Mounted at the back of the waist. The exact equipment that is used officially by its predecessor Gundams.

GN Buster Sword II:
Attached to the Solar Furnace on the left shoulder; it acts as a GN Shield in its ‘kept’ state. Also has the ability to switch to GN Sword mode. In Shield Mode, a large multi-directional GN Field could be generated, capable of protecting nearby allies. For the GN Sword mode, It is a melee weapon with top class destructive power.

More pictures. conversion of 00 Gundam to 00 Gundam Seven Swords by JUNIII

Judging from above information, I assumes this variation would face some trouble when operating on earth since the GN Buster Sword II is hell so big and heavy (of course)… It would throws the suit out of balance. However, if it is used in space, it won’t be any problems. Somehow, kinda dissapointed when knowing it just a MSV. I hope to see it in action in the TV series.

Anyway, I bet Bandai is gonna release this kit, because they already released 00 Gundam and Avalanche Exia which is a MSV from 00V.

1/100 Gundam 00 + O Raiser

Posted by John on December 10, 2008

Gundam 00 equipped with 0 Raiser, will be rolled out on 11th Dec, yeap, thats tomorrow. With a pricetag of 5000yen, which is around RM170…. Nowadays the price for the 1/100s’ are so expensive, almost same as the price of MGs…

Gorgeous isn’t it? But way too expensive for a 1/100… I’m not taking it until it has MG version.

NEWS

Nikkei Business Online has been posting a series of discussions with Bandai Hobby Division’s Deputy General Manager & Bandai Hobby Center chief Katsuhiko Sasaki.

- Development of a plamodel (plastic model) takes 120-150 days from design to shipping out. They plan on optimizing this to 100 days.

- The plamodel market exceeds 50 billion yen in value.

- Said market is such that even 10-year-old products can be manufactured and sold with repeated demand. The ratio of sales for new products vs. old products is roughly 50-50.

- The people who buy Gunpla can be largely divided into two groups: 10s to 20s-year-olds who purchase them because of their interest in the latest Gundam Series and 30s to 40s-year-olds who’ve been fans since the First Gundam Series in 1979. Gunpla has been particularly sustained by the latter.

Shizuoka Hobby Show 2008

Posted by John on May 23, 2008

If I’m not mistaken, the 47th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2008 is being held on 15th-18th May 2008.

Here’s some photos I took from various websites. All the photos are about Bandai’s booth and of course Gundams.

There’s a large RX-78-2 Gundam at Bandai’s booth. Strong enough to attract lil girl to pose with him. ^^

Master Grade RX-78-2 Gundam ver.2.0

Bandai’s main product for the show. Master Grade RX-78-2 Gundam ver.2.0

Action pose.

Personally, I don’t really like this Ver.2.0 RX-78-2’s design. I think Bandai purposely designed it this way in order to keep the market of previous versions of RX-78-2, such as ver.OYW, ver.1.5, ver.KA.

RX-78-2 Gundam ver.2.0 poses latest inner frame technology from Bandai. Those who wants a good inner frame design may go for this kit, but 0 for appearance. If you like good looking one, go for previous versions. Thus, some buyers would buy various versions, and Bandai gets the profit.

From left to right. ver2.0, ver.OYW, ver1.5, ver.KA, ver1.0 (which only shows the leg in the photo)

I prefer the ver.OYW one.

Master Grade Shin Musha Gundam

I remember I posted about this kit before if my brain still functioning properly.

The box art is AWESOME. I’m falling for it.

A diorama based on a scene in the PS2/PS3 game, Gundam Musou.

and someone even made a 3DCG from it…

Gundam 00 series

1/100 scale products of Gundam 00 series.

upcoming 1/100scale model, MSJ-06II-A Tieren Ground Type.

I’m not going to have this. lol.

upcoming 1/100scale model, Gundam Astreae TYPE-F.

This is 1 of the bandai’s money shaker

Another money shaker, 1/100scale Gundam Avalanche Exia, which is still in production.

Those who bought Gundam Exia last time will definitely buy this Exia again, since this one with more equipments looks way more kick @ss than standard Exia.

Others

Large GFF products.. Psycho Gundam Mk.II, in production.

GFF Psycho Gundam

Master Grade Force Impulse Gundam

Bandai is getting better and better in producing model kits, especially Gundam kits. The quality is incredible. Bandai is the only company that get licensed to produce gundam kits. (correct me if I’m wrong) By the way, they’re also getting better and better in gaining profits. LOL. here’s an example: MG Impulse Gundam, it has 3 backpacks in the anime, Force, Sword and Blast. They’ve launched the Force backpack, I bet Bandai’s gonna launch the Sword pack and Blast pack in near future.. OMG, Those who wants the 3 packs will have to buy 3 Impulse Gundams…

MG Shin Musha Gundam

Posted by John on May 14, 2008

Bandai is gonna release this kit on June2008…

Looking forward to know how they gonna deal with the gold colour…

Since my budget is limited so I have to wait it to be released on June, then getting reviews from those who buy it… after that only decide whether to get it or not…
