An Eyeful a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Posted by John on June 5, 2009

This is an old news, From what you’ve read, we guys will become healthier if we could have 10minutes of eyeful a day.

Some might think this is perverted, However, the most important is what we think about this issue. It is just same issue as some women likes to look at men’s body.

Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 2

Posted by John on June 3, 2009

For those who currently using Microsoft Windows Vista, now Service Pack 2 is officially available for download, bringing better Wi-Fi and BlueTooth connectivity, processor compatibility, native Blu-Ray support, and faster search to Windows Vista.

However, if you’re a normal user, I suggest you to wait for Windows Update to upgrade for you, which estimated to be around end of June 2009.

Downloads:

Although the SP1 was a huge failure, however, I still hope SP2 would fix all those problems, such as RAM hungry, high disk space usage and performance down drag… Perhaps as someone criticizes that “Windows Vista is only complete after Windows 7.”

Which OS(s) is/are you currently using?

K-ON! boost Headphone and Mobile phone Sales

Posted by John on May 12, 2009

According to a Japanese blog of a headphone store, E-Earphone blog, the headphone, AKG K701 was sold out for the first time ever since the opening of the shop.

This is unbelievable, AKG K701 is a high performance headphone which costs 74,900yen or around RM1500. Just because Mio used the headphone in episode5, the headphone sold out…

Not just the headphone, even the mobile phone Mio used in the same episode, NTT Docomo FOMA D902i, which is an old model of 2005, also sold out in the the used mobile phone store…

It seems that marketing in anime would boost the sales of anything especially KyoAni’s anime. So, what’s next?

Breast Enhancing Ringtone

Found this accidentally on youtube… Dr. Tomabechi had invented a kind of ringtone that would increase the size of a female’s breast for 2cm if she listens to the ringtone for 10 times a day, for a total of 20 days.

I don’t think it’ll work for males… Girls out there who wants this ringtone… erm, I got…

Mahjong

Playing mahjong with my friends… found this mahjong set in my old house… I believe it is older than me… ^^

Some said that playing mahjong is not nice, because most people usually thinks “play mahjong = gambling = bad habit”… Well, I think that mahjong is a very nice game, which you have to observe other players, plan and decide what to do in order to win or prevent others to win. Of course I don’t gambling…

Did you played mahjong before? Talk about mahjong, below is the promotion video of Saki, one of 2009 Spring season’s anime.

Master Grade Unicorn Gundam

I had this MG kit for a year already… wanted to construct it, but never get a chance to do so… always busy with all kinds of stuff… Until recently, i got some free time to do this project…

The Psycho Frame, It GLOWS… Bandai used some kind of light collecting material for this ABS part…

Shinjuku Incident

Went to watch movie with my friends, DaoQi and Simon on 2nd April. Intended to watch Fast and Furious 4, which on air on that day. Good gracious, the tickets were sold out… Finally, we choose another new movie by Jackie Chan – Shinjuku Incident

Don’t wan’t to spoil the story for you. Simple summary:

In the early 1990s, a tractor mechanic from China nicknamed Steelhead (Jackie Chan) enters Japan illegally, in search of his girlfriend Xiu Xiu (Xu Jinglei). Steelhead and his friend, Jie (Daniel Wu) meet in the busy Shinjuku district of Tokyo and take manual labouring jobs to earn money. When Steelhead finds out that Xiu Xiu has married a Japanese Yakuza leader named Eguchi (Kato Masaya), he decides to remain in Japan…

This is actually a very good movie, the background are very well portrayed, such as the Yakuza community, Japanese society, gothic and etc…However, in Malaysia, this movie is being filtered… quite a lot being cut away… below is the movie trailer…

Fast and Furious 4

We never give up on what we wanted to do… 2nd day, We went to watch movie again… this time, we booked the ticket earlier… Still barely get the ticket, the front most row..

What I can say after I finished the whole movie is: “your money won’t be wasted.” Go watch this movie if possible. I’m looking for another chance to watch it again.

picture below, Jordana is so COOL in her Honda NSX. Hoping to see more actions from her…

Ching Ming Festival

Today is Ching Ming Festival, which also called as All Souls Day or Tomb Sweeping Day. Went to clean the tombs of my grandparents and great-grandparents.

It is a day to remember and honor our ancestors. We Chinese take this festival very seriously as it is a time to reflect, honour and give thanks to our forefathers.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Posted by John on April 2, 2009

Danny posted an Osaka Bang video a while ago which shows how folks in Osaka react to being shot by an invisible gun and cut down by an invisible sword.

He wrote up a post introducing this phenomena at BoingBoing and soon after Tim at Trophy Wife saw his post and went and made an American version!

Below is the original Osaka Bang video clip with english subs.

Well, from above video clips, the Osaka people reacts a lot more better in my opinion. While we could see that americans seems to ignoring guns but jump at martial arts… Their reactions are just quite disappointing and they doesn’t seems want to bother him. Don’t forget that he’s doing this in a theme/amusement park, whereas the Japanese are doing this on the street…

The folks in Osaka are said to be more friendly and open than folks in Tokyo. Don’t ever mention about doing this in M@l@ysi@…

Bush Shoes MEGA-mix

Posted by John on December 17, 2008

Good Day folks, talking about latest news, what came on your mind right away?

Zaidi throws his shoes towards Bush!!

I assume that you did read/heard about this news yesterday, but if you don’t know what actually happened. Please kindly check your yesterday’s newspaper (16th Dec) or click here for BBC News about Bush Brushes off shoe attack. Or read below…

During a press conference at the Prime Minister’s Palace in Baghdad, Iraq, al-Zaidi threw his shoes at President George W. Bush. Throwing shoes is an act of extreme disrespect in both the Arab and Islamic cultures.

“This is a farewell kiss from the Iraqi people, you are a dog,” yelled al-Zaidi in Arabic as he threw his first shoe towards the U.S. president.

“This is for the widows and orphans and all those killed in Iraq,” he shouted as he threw his second shoe.

President Bush ducked twice, avoiding being hit by the shoes. Al-Zaidi was then pulled to the floor by another journalist, before being grabbed by Prime Minister Maliki’s guards, kicked, and rushed out of the room. White House spokeswoman Dana Perino was hit in the face by a microphone boom sent flying by a presidential bodyguard resulting in a clearly visible black eye.

Some Iraqi reporters present at the scene offered apologies to President Bush. “Thanks for apologizing on behalf of the Iraqi people. It doesn’t bother me,” Mr. Bush joked: “If you want the facts, it’s a size 10 shoe that he threw.” When asked about the incident by another reporter, Bush said “It’s a way for people to draw attention. I don’t know what the guy’s cause was. I didn’t feel the least bit threatened by it.” When later asked to reflect on the incident, Bush said “I didn’t have much time to reflect on anything, I was ducking and dodging.” “I’m not angry with the system. I believe that a free society is emerging, and a free society is necessary for our own security and peace,” he added. ”I don’t think that you can take one guy throwing his shoe as representative of the people of Iraq,” argued White House Press Secretary Dana Perino.

In today’s newspaper, al-Zaidi has became Iraqi’s hero, everyone knows about him. But I’m not going to discuss why Bush is being thrown shoes by an Iraqi journalist, neither al-Zaidi’s action.

The incident happened on 14th Dec, today is 17th Dec. If you surf around internet you would found bunch of whatever things that are related to it. Such as videos, GIFs (animated pictures) and even flash games… I found quite a number of those and would like to share with you guys. lol…

Firstly, GIF collections in 1 video MEGA-MIX on YouTube.

The video was hilarious, even pokeballs are used…

Secondly, Flash Game… Shoot the shoes… not Bush..

CLICK for the game – Bush’s Boot Camp

Thanks for reading.
