Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 2

For those who currently using Microsoft Windows Vista, now Service Pack 2 is officially available for download, bringing better Wi-Fi and BlueTooth connectivity, processor compatibility, native Blu-Ray support, and faster search to Windows Vista.

However, if you’re a normal user, I suggest you to wait for Windows Update to upgrade for you, which estimated to be around end of June 2009.

• x86 for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista x86 32bit
• x64 for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista x64 64bit

Although the SP1 was a huge failure, however, I still hope SP2 would fix all those problems, such as RAM hungry, high disk space usage and performance down drag… Perhaps as someone criticizes that “Windows Vista is only complete after Windows 7.”

Computer Addiction

was reading some articles about computers… and accidentally bump into an article about computer addiction…

yeap, computers can provide lots of entertainment and enjoyment… most of my friends have a computer and internet connection at their home.. and most of their activities are watching movies (youtube, ppstream…), playing games (online, flash, offline…), blogging or social networking (blog, msn, friendster…)…

to my surprise, some of them even getting addicted to computer because of a flash game… zzz They become obsessed to the computer and the internet.

according to the article, symptoms of a computer user with computer addiction include the following:
1. spends most of time on computer
2. overjoyed when at the computer
3. unable to stop computer activity
4. irritable when not at computer
5. neglects family and friends
6. problems at work or school

ehem, well, I think I have slightly computer addiction since I have some of the listed symptoms… so, how do you think about this issue? are you also a computer addictive?

but no worry, it is treatable via therapy… lol

What The HECK?

Well, I just bought the April 2008’s Dengeki Hobby… Dengeki Hobby is a Japanese monthly magazine about models and figures, It has HongKong translation and Taiwan translation versions too…

of course, I always buy the HK or Taiwan translation version… cause I still cant read Japanese… Even if I can read Japanese, where can I get the Japanese version in Sitiawan…^^

Buying this magazine is not what I want blog about, but the tag included in the magazine…

When a certain magazine/book imports to Malaysia, I donno what what Jabatan got check the contents of the magazine/book.. then, they’ll rate the magazine/book…

Well, this is Malaysia, those M*l*ys rate anything…

but… this is not Pl*yb0y magazine wor…. I think the M*l*yP1Gs dont even know what is model and figures… I do admit some figures may have their clothes striped… but.. I dont think looking at the striped figures will make someone do some yellow-yellow stuff.. well, if Gundams… =.=|| that guy needs some phycological attention..

No Graphics Card

as I said before, I toasted my GC… but later I found out the problem is not the GC, the GC is working, the problem comes from the driver… ChoonYong told me that nVidia’s driver has lots of problems and not 100%… but I dont have any problems with the nVidia drivers until the last Thursday…

I tried to repair the problem, I used all kinds of methods and failed… It is driving me crazy…

so I tried to change the nVidia GC to ATI GC, but… my comp couldn’t detect the GC… and I’m tired (actually is lazy) of these problems…

At last my decision is NOT to install a GC…

NO Graphics Card = No advanced graphics processing = NO GAMEs (still got pinball)

Galaxy nVidia GeForce 6200LE

I get this card from JuShuen. If you read my old posts before, I helped him to upgrade his computer. He changed his motherboard and graphics card. ABIT IP35P mobo and XFX nVidia GeForce 8600GT with ZALMAN fan.

He throw his old MSI M-7222 mobo and Galaxy nVidia GeForce 6200LE to me…

Thanks to him, I manage to upgrade my old graphics card – MSI nVidia FX5500 to the 6200LE for free… ^^

thanks to him again, I pushed my computer to its limit, and finally I toasted the hardware and the driver… this is something really silly to do with… now I cant play any games that requires better graphics processing… ah, great…

Changing Screen Resolution

I said I’m gonna teach u guyz to change the screen resolution in my last post, here goes…

Firstly, right click and click on “Properties”

Then, click on the settings. Drag the “Screen Resolution” bar.

Choose the best option. (I recommend to choose as large resolution as your computer can support)

You may found that the pictures above become small and unclear… (if you change to 1280×1024)…

but you can moderate bigger size images…

Its up to you whether change the screen resolution or not…
